The paywall sits on organising, never on taking part. How many shared goals and challenges you start yourself depends on the subscription — joining is unlimited without one, and talking is and stays free for everyone. For challenges only running and upcoming ones count; an expired one blocks nothing. And cancelling costs you nothing you already have: existing groups and challenges stay, only new ones stop.

The higher minimum in hard mode is deliberate: anti-charity is meant to be felt. There are also no free jokers in that mode.
How a forfeited stake is split
The 20% cover payment fees, server operations and forwarding to the organisation. The remaining cent goes to the organisation, never to us. The split is shown to you before every goal and recorded on every receipt.
Charging happens automatically, once a day around midday. At midday rather than at night so that overnight measurements — sleep, steps — can still arrive; otherwise a day you actually completed would be charged as missed. A day can never be charged twice.
Saving a card costs nothing
- Nothing is charged when you save it — only if you really miss a check-in.
- Card data lives with Stripe, never with us.
- No card, no charge — your goal would have no bite.
- Tensio Plus runs through Google Play billing, not through the card.
A statement yes, a tax certificate no. Under “Donations” you can generate a PDF for each year: every amount collected, broken down by organisation. It is not tax-deductible — only the organisation itself may issue a tax certificate, and your stake goes to Tensio first, not to them.
